I hope to travel to visit the project in February. The new school year begins on February 1st. but the teachers need some time to prepare the book lists and Willy, our supplier in La Cancha market in Cochabamba also needs some time to prepare the individual packets. I will keep you posted on plans.

Fundraising Lunch

On Saturday December 5th 2009 Hala arranged a Lebanese mezzeh lunch. As usual the food was delicious. 18 people turned up so the house was full. Some of them were already sponsors and others were not, but, in any case, the event raised some very welcome funds for the 2010 campaign. Thanks again to Hala!

Fresh Start

It is some time since I updated this blog. This was partly because the blogger site changed and I did not alter the settings. However, I have done that now so hopefully I can keep you all posted on events from now on.
